Timmy Malloy

Rising Star Chef 2014, The San Fransisco Chronicle

Timmy started cooking when he was fourteen years old, after his mom "volunteered him" to a catering company. It only took a few weeks and he was hooked. Watching what he calls pirates produce such beautiful food in contrast to the guests none the wiser of the riff raff behind the scenes: something about the organized chaos lit a spark. 

After graduating from The Culinary Institute of America in 2006, he spent time in Washington DC, New York, Seattle, and San Francisco- where he was named a Rising Star Chef.

Timmy Malloy's food plays with the balance of comfort and adventure. His food is simple and elegant but challenges people to step outside of the box.
